Human Head Detection with the application of Crowd Counting
The implemented system is capable of estimating the count of people in a crowded scene. Head region is detected since this is the most visible part of the body in a crowded scene. First, interest points were obtained to reduce search space. Then, to carry out head detection, Adaboost was used around the interest points.
