For EE Majors: The ENGR 5 sequence may be replaced by ECE 140 or 130C. No other substitutions are possible. If a student chooses 140 or 130C as a substitution for the ENGR 5 sequence, s/he

may notuse that course as an ECE elective (no double-dipping). Anyone choosing this option must submit a Petition for Graduation Requirements with the College of Engineering Undergrad Office. There's a blanket approval for the above petition.

For CE Majors: ENGR 5A may be replaced by any College of Engineering courses as long as that course has not been used for any other requirements for the major. Once again, a student must submit a Petition for Graduation Requirements with the College of Engineering Undergrad Office for this substitution option. The CE Director's signature will be required on this form.
