Bowen Song is currently a Ph.D. student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UCSB. He is from Shanxi, China. In 2012, he received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the School of Electronic Engineering and Optoelectronic Technology at Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST) of China in Nanjing. In early 2013, he joined the Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Laboratory at Boston University working on developing nano-patterned sapphire substrate for AlGaN-based deep UV LEDs and received his Master of Science Degree in September 2014. His current research focuses on electronic-photonic integration.
