General lab guidelines

Mode-locked laser setup

This setup is dedicated to measuring mode-locked lasers and short pulse characterization. The setup currently uses the following equipment:

  • Two nanoblocks
  • TEC
  • Current source
  • X Keithley sourcemeters (note: this can all link to the equipment page)
  • L-band EDFA
  • U2T 50-GHz photodiode
  • FROG
  • Autocorrelator (manual, paper)
