ImportFiles.txt(file size: 4 KB, MIME type: text/plain)
Warning: This file type may contain malicious code. By executing it, your system may be compromised.

Uses macros to import a folder of text files into Excel. Files may have as many columns as desired and you can select which ones to import.

To use, open Excel. Choose the View menu and click on Macros (at the far right). Choose a name for the macro ("ImportFiles" works) and click Create. Once in the macro editor select all text and replace it with the text in this file.

Now you can change the folder name to where your data is. You can also change which columns you want to import from your files.

After you do this, save the Excel sheet as a .xlsm file. You will have to reenable macros every time you want to use it.
